EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 11, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Taquirah ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit taquirah.com (the "Site"). It is written to comply with the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA) and other applicable California law.
Information you give us. If you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, subject line, and message. We use this only to respond to booking, press, and collaboration inquiries.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically receives standard technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and the date and time of your visit. We do not use analytics, advertising, or remarketing tools, and we do not set our own tracking cookies.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.
The Site relies on the following third-party services, which may receive your IP address and browser information and may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies:
The Site also links to outside sites such as our merch store (Printify), ticketing pages (Ticketmaster, Tixr, Eventbrite), streaming services, IMDb, and social media. When you follow those links, the destination site's privacy policy applies, not this one.
We do not track visitors over time or across third-party websites, and we do not knowingly allow other parties to do so for advertising. Because there is no common industry standard for "Do Not Track" (DNT) browser signals, the Site does not respond to them differently. Embedded Spotify, YouTube, TikTok and Instagram content may collect information about your activity under their own policies, as described above. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings.
We share personal information only with the service providers listed above as needed to run the Site and respond to you, when required by law, or to protect our rights and safety. If we work with a booking agent, manager, or publicist on your inquiry, we may forward your message to them for that purpose.
We keep contact form messages only as long as needed to respond and maintain records of our business correspondence. We use reasonable safeguards, including HTTPS encryption, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
You may ask us to review, correct, or delete personal information you have submitted through the Site by emailing us at the address below. We will respond within a reasonable time.
California "Shine the Light" (Civil Code § 1798.83). California residents may request information about any disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not make such disclosures.
California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). Based on our size and practices, we are not currently a "business" subject to the CCPA. We nevertheless do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we will honor reasonable requests to access or delete your information.
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it. Minors under 18 who are California residents may ask us to remove content they have posted on the Site.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised policy on this page and update the effective date above. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
